Enjoy the delights of Borrowdale from Mountain View cottage. Situated between Rosthwaite and Seatoller this valley cottage gives immediate access to public footpaths leading to Seathwaite, Johnny Wood, Langstrath, Honister Pass, Glaramara and beyond. When not out exploring you can relax in your own private peaceful rear garden either in one of the many outside seating locations or inside the tranquil garden room and then retire in the evenings to the living room with its cosy log burner. The space The cottage is situated on the B5289 between Keswick and Buttermere which makes it extremely handy for catching the renowned Borrowdale Bus that runs every 30 minutes between Seatoller and Keswick. In addition you can also catch the Buttermere circular which will take you over Honister Pass and into Buttermere and before continuing on to Keswick via Whinlatter Pass. The front of the cottage is south facing and looks out to Thorneythwaite Fell and Combe Head. Here there is a small front yard with a bench seat where guests can relax and enjoy the views. Exiting the rear kitchen door leads you into an enclosed yard area that is perfect for storing bicycles and all your outdoor activity gear. An interior door from here leads you into a useful utility room where you will find a washing machine; microwave; Belfast sink, a toilet plus a mini worktop freezer should you need additional freezer space. Stepping outside from the rear yard stable door you will find a parking space for 2 cars. The garage building that lies in front of the parking area has been divided up into both a workshop and a garden sitting area and although the workshop area remains private, guests will have full access to the Garden Room via the sliding doors from the outside patio.
